Kristin is an experienced Clinical Social Worker with expertise in the array of Special Education Services (K-21).  She has provided clinical services to children with special needs, Autism, developmental delays, and emotional challenges for over 25 years.  While working in the public schools, Kristin developed expertise in assessment, diagnosis, intervention and Special Education advocacy.  In addition, she has conducted hundreds of social skills groups and developed positive reinforcement systems.  She has authored and implemented Individualized Educational Plans, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavioral Intervention Plans.  As a licensed Clinical Social Worker, Kristin has provided short-term and long-term psychotherapy, school based counseling and Parent Training.  She has a particular interest in Parent Training and the collaborative relationships with all service providers.  She holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from New York University and has completed all Ph.D. coursework at the New York University Silver School of Social Work.
