Debbie Finn holds a Masters Degree in Health Advocacy from Sarah Lawrence College, with a focus on Pediatric and Adolescent Health: behavioral, emotional, educational and psychological. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Clark University.
Debbie’s depth and breadth of knowledge has been achieved by spending many years traveling across the region and country, visiting day and boarding schools, therapeutic boarding schools, residential treatment centers and wilderness programs. Debbie’s attention has been focused on curating an expertise on the varying needs of children and adolescents struggling with social, emotional, learning and behavioral needs that cannot be served in a mainstream environment. The relationships she has developed with school and program leaders within the metropolitan area and throughout the country has served her students and their families to achieve the best possible educational placement.
Debbie is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) and attends their national and regional conferences.
It is the closure a family feels knowing the most promising opportunity for their child has been researched, identified, and meets their goals that gives Debbie both a sense of professional and personal accomplishment.
